Mashable.com launched the event in 2010, “as a way to recognize the digital revolution happening right before our eyes.” Four years later, Mashable continues to celebrate by hosting Mashable Meetups in more than 216 communities worldwide to give its reader the change to meet and discuss all things social media and technology in person.
